Degrove Project Manager Russell Smith (Email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) specializes in topographic route surveys that enable electric and public works entities to both design/build new infrastructure and renovate existing utilities. As project manager, Russell plays a key role in both the supervision and review of work in areas such as preparing legal descriptions, route surveys, boundary, topographic and cellular tower site surveys.
His project management resume includes numerous projects for the Jacksonville Electric Authority, St. Johns River Water Management District, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and private developers and engineers.
Since launching his career in 1972, Russell has worked in all aspects of the business and has earned a reputation for accuracy and reliability.
A trained boat captain, Russell is Section Retracement Camp Certified and an I.C.S. Surveying and Mapping graduate. He earned his Associate of Science degree in Marine Science and Biology from South Georgia College in Douglas, Georgia, and is a member of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, and the Hydrographic Society of America.
Russell is licensed and certified to practice surveying and mapping in the state of Florida.
