Tom Tracz, P.S.M., Vice President

Since launching his career in 1982, Degrove Vice President Tom Tracz (Email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) has served as project manager and company liaison on a wide variety of projects, including boundary, hydrographic, topographic, land acquisition, and vertical plane surveys.

Tom joined Degrove in 1988 and, in addition to his fieldwork, is responsible for managing the company’s Gainesville, Florida, office.

Throughout his career, Tom has managed numerous boundary and topographic surveys and Federal Emergency Management Agency flood hazard studies in Florida’s Manatee, Charlotte, and Putnam Counties and in Dorchester County, South Carolina. He has completed hazardous waste health and safety training and has performed boundary and topographic surveys on several hazardous waste sites, including a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Superfund site in Northeast, Florida.

Tom earned his Associate of Science degree in Land Surveying Technology from Fort Steilacom Community College, in Tacoma, Washington. He is an active member of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Builders Association of North Central Florida, and the Utility Contractors Association of North Florida.

Tom is licensed and certified to practice surveying and mapping in the state of Florida.
