Scope

Degrove was tasked with completing a Ground Penetrating Radar survey, of a paved tarmac, to identify potential voids and anomalies that may pose a hazard to aircraft, in Andros Island, Bahamas.

Main Project Tasks

Degrove was tasked with completing a Ground Penetrating Radar survey, of a paved tarmac containing 16 helicopter landing zones or munitions pads and the green area adjacent to the tarmac for a distance of approximately 60 feet outside the perimeter of the paved area, to identify potential voids and anomalies that may pose a hazard to aircraft. The survey was completed utilizing a GSSI 350HS GPR antenna and a SIR 4000 GPR Controller.
