Scope

The purpose of this survey was to complete a Multibeam and Singlebeam survey of part of the St. Johns River within approximately 900 feet of the shore, at the former JEA Southside Generating Station.

Main Project Tasks

Degrove completed a Multibeam and Singlebeam Survey, of part of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida.

The survey was completed utilizing a Reson T20 high resolution multibeam sonar for swath bathymetry, an Odom CV100 200kHz singlebeam sonar and a POS MV Surfmaster Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), for motion correction and positioning.  100% coverage was achieved in areas where the multibeam sonar was utilized and the singlebeam sonar was utilized to supplement the multibeam data.
